Currently Golf in China is one of the countries fastest growing industries, home to over 200 courses with another 100 courses currently under construction. The golfing bug has certainly bitten in China but with demand from the built up areas of Japan and Hong Kong high, green fees can prove prohibitive to all but the upper classes. The majority of golf courses in China lie along the south-east coast. As you can imagine the capital of Beijing has many courses, however many of the finest golf clubs in China are to be found further south in the province of Guandong along the South China sea near Hong Kong. Here you will find the esteemed Agile Golf and Country club which is not only considered one of the best golf courses in China but in all of South East Asia. Despite providing daily services to our members and guests, Huatang International Golf Club has been dedicating to hosting major golf championships and events. From 2002, Huatang has hosted with success the LiNing Cup, the North Star-Mercedes Benz Championship, the Jianguo Hotel Invitational, the China World Hotel Invitational, the Bohai Oilman Invitational Golf Tournament and Mercedes-Benz China National Golf Event 2004. In the year 2004, we won the nomination prize as one of the 10 best golf courses in China , which supported by China Golf Association.
Beijing Golf Club
BEIJING GOLF CLUB was set up in March of 1985 as a joint project between China International Sports Travel Co. Which belongs to State Sport General Administration of China and Pan Asia Corporation of Japan. It was opened in June of 1987 after 2 years construction period and it is now one of the most famous golf in China.
The club is located in the east bank of Chaobai River Shunyi District, Northeast of the Capital International Airport and is around 35 kilometers far from the center of Beijing. The course, designed by Benz& Poellot Golf Course Architects of U.S.A, has 7101 yards length in two million square meters area and very challenging 18 holes among the beautiful forest with clean ponds, which reflect surrounding green trees and blue sky. At times you can see wild animals such as pheasants and rabbits on the flat but away fairway and you may refresh yourself so much.
You can also enjoy Japanese and Chinese dishes in the restaurant with 130 seats, bathing in Japanese style bathroom and shopping in the pro shop of the clubhouse. As to training facilities for beginners, there are a driving range and 4 holes practicing course with a professional instructions that you can ask for private lesions.
A high reputation from all the players . Since then we have held "Helong Cup" every autumn as Amateur Invitational Golf Tournament and "BAT" China PCA League Beijing.
